I worked all night on a term paper that was due the next day and completely forgot to study for a test I had the same day.  I had not read the chapter, and it was a very technical class, one that I knew little about.  I got to class the next day and the teacher (Coach Fuller) handed out the tests.  It was about 3-4 pages long.  I looked at the first page for about 10 minutes and still couldn't answer any of the questions.  The first question was a diagram where I was supposed to fill in the names of the parts.  It was an engine or boat or some sort of machinery.  I had no clue.  The second set of questions dealt with a certain formula I was supposed to have studied.  I was supposed to translate these sentences using the formula or something.  The third set of questions was matching.  That was the first page.  I don't remember the second or third page, but I remember I was able to guess at some of the questions on the other pages.  I spent a great deal of time looking at the last page, which was some sort of booklet-like thing, similar to a standardized test where it asked for your name, your county and city, etc.  You were supposed to fill it in by using numbers, but the code for Fulton county wasn't listed so I was searching and searching for the right code.  Most of the class was finishing the test already and Coach Fuller even graded several and handed them back.  He grabbed mine at one point and was grading one section that I had attempted (I was like, "Wait! I'm not done!!").  A friend was in the class and she was telling me she got a 60-something.  I think that was considered a failing grade.  I knew I was gonna make twice as bad on mine.
Then I was somewhere else, trying to decide what to wear to school that day, and I ended up putting on something like a romper but it was very dressy.  Then I was back in the classroom and everyone had exchanged papers so I had someone else's test.  (And I still didn't get to finish mine!)  The guy in front of me tore off part of my test and handed it back to me, indicating I could cheat now that I had someone else's test.  I kept trying to, but Coach Fuller kept moving around the room.  Then he made us all move.  Our row (the first one on the left) moved up against the wall, then I moved further toward the front next to a friend (I don't know who) and borrowed a folder to bear down on.  I never really got a chance to cheat, although I had tried all during the test, too.  My friend was next to me and she said, "I didn't study at all" and I told her, "I didn't even open up the book."
In some other class I had been absent when we went over some certain section, so the teacher told me I could skip those questions on the test.  So I did.  The next week he told me I should've answered those questions because I'd had time to study that section.  I told him, "You told me I could skip those questions because I'd been absent that day!!"  But he still wouldn't let me finish the test.
