Rock and Roll!
Over the years I have developed an affinity for a great number of bands and musicians. I like everything from Hall & Oates to Led Zeppelin....and everything in between. In my youth, I had nothing better to do than to collect teen magazine pictures and articles, buy albums (yes, vinyl) left and right, tape my favorite songs off the radio, and videotape a couple hundred music videos. In short, I was a rock and roll junkie. I spoke, thought, dreamed, and breathed rock and roll. The walls in my room were covered with pictures and posters, mostly Hall & Oates and Led Zeppelin...but with a dash of the Fixx, Howard Jones, Kiss, and Whitesnake. (How's that for variety?!) I went to as many concerts as I could, but until I was old enough to drive myself, I had a hard time finding someone else who would. As most teens, the affinity I had for certain bands was often highly dependent upon the handsomeness of the members therein. But as a bottom line, I really liked the music (honest!). I've always loved music with interesting melodies and rich harmonies....the kind of features you find often in bands like Hall & Oates and Squeeze. That usually explains the great variety of music that I listen to.
But I could talk about music forever. What you really want to see are great pictures! I brought my collection of pictures and articles down from my attic, dusted them off, and rummaged through them. I pulled out some of my favorite pictures to show you, as well as an article or two.
