I was the heroine of some spy sci-fi tv series or either I was acting out one. I had to go secretly to some beachside resort, so instead of taking the conspicuous well-traveled route all the time, I would often go off the beaten path onto one that paralleled it or either would hop from building to building instead. I got to the beach at last, and had some girl with me that supposedly was my friend. She was asking me about my adventures or something (some spy I am, if I'm telling her!!!) and asked if I was afraid of the ocean. We were sitting on the floor in some big empty room either in an apartment or condo or motel or something. I told her that I didn't mind going out in the deep ocean and recalled a time when I had to go out in the deep in order to get to a peaceful sandbar where the water was calm and fairly shallow. We were looking through a tv guide to see a review of the tv show I was in (or was imitating). The review described the series and I remember thinking that the girl who played the main part used to be on a soap opera. The last page of the review was on the last page of the magazine and there was an advertisement at the bottom of the page. There was this black and white circle with a drawing of Scott Baio's face, and his hands in a kind of shrugging gesture. Underneath his face, near the top half of the circle, was a statement about how "little folks need help" and asked for support or contributions for some organization like the Special Oympics or something. In big letters, at the bottom of the circle, was the catch-phrase or quote, "I'm like, second to a virgin or something!" as if this was a popular saying of his (or one of his former tv characters).
